Traveling Stanzas Illustration

Each school year, the Wick Poetry Center at Kent State University selects one poet to publish in the Kent State University Press through a project called Traveling Stanzas. A chosen poem from the poet then gets commissioned to be illustrated by a student. In 2022, I had the opportunity to create an illustration for poet Farnaz Fatemi. It was such a great experience to meet her and provide an accompaniment to one of her beautiful poems!
